FilingBox GIGA is a network storage protection solution that uses standard Samba file servers to protect data from ransomware or data-stealing malware for professionals managing large amounts of data or AI/OT/IoT devices generating sensitive data. You can set the behavior mode for folders by professional or device among read-write mode, read-only mode, append-only mode, and list-only mode. When set to read-write mode, the folder can be read and written to like a normal storage device, but when set to read-only mode, the folder is read-only and can only be viewed without creating, modifying, or deleting files; when set to append-only mode, only new files can be created, but not viewed, modified, or deleted; when set to list-only mode, a list of files can be viewed, but viewing, modifying, or deleting existing files, as well as creating new files, is blocked.
